PROJECT OVERVIEW.
LinkedIn Local KC was a meetup concept with the purpose to meet the people behind the online profiles. Many people connect with the intention of meeting to explore the possibility of doing business in the future, but life often gets in the way and pretty soon that person becomes just another forgotten first level connection. This event was created by members of the KC community who want to provide a space for collaboration, networking, and growing relationships face to face. This project was 100% volunteer run and raised funds from quarterly events to donate to a local charity.
The direction of the brand was a bold yellow that flooded the internet with a fresh but easily recognizable consistency. The design was intended to lean slightly professional to fit within the landscape of the places you’d often see a “networking event”, but to be just bold and unique enough for it to stand out amidst the crowd.
And after a pause post 2020, it’s been rebranded as High Five, check it out!
